The Coronavirus pandemic lockdown has caused hoarding, shortages & panic in many areas of the United States. Grocery shopping, cooking, and eating have changed dramatically in less than a month’s time. Grocery delivery has been unavailable due to surging demand and a scarcity of delivery company shoppers. Sunday March 22 I venture out to our local Trader Joes in Palm Desert California. The scene that unfolded left me stunned. Watch my latest video to see a situation report of the food and grocery situation in the Coachella Valley, California.

I hope everyone out there watching this is safe and have everything they need. It’s hard to live a healthy lifestyle when you are living off of canned goods and shelf stable pantry ingredients. Shopping regularly for farm-fresh fruits and vegetables is an act of self care, and some of the best money you will ever spend by being rewarded with good health and wellbeing. When that is interrupted it’s very tough to adjust to a different reality, but remember we are innately resourceful creatures, it’s just become unfamiliar to us because of the comfort and convenience of our lives up until this point.
